Elaine, our server was very kind and helped us to manage our order when we miskeyed into the system. She fixed our order speedily and asked follow up questions to understand our needs. Redina was very responsive and proactively asked us if we would want our desert when we were done. Excellent waitressing staff overall.

Every item we ordered was cooked well. Flavorful without being overpowered. My boyfriend, who is a serial foodie (he's autistic and has very sensitive taste buds) had no complaints - a high compliment.

Lunch promo makes this place super friendly to wallet. The amount is huge and everyone is happy and stuffed after lunch. Service can get jammed when it's full but still done with a smile.

I really love chen’s mapo tofu, normally i have it like once in two months. I visited PLQ branch for the first time, i had exceptional experience again.
Not just the food taste, the staff were all so welcoming and kind.

I highly recommend to get the Don Po Rou Don, their new menu which was so so nice and tender. And their portion is amazing. and of course you must get their mapo tofu 🙂

Also if you want to have dessert, it is also a good choice to have at Chen’s cause i really enjoyed their matcha and black sesame icecream!!

Dong Po Rou Don, the slow braised pork belly was so soft and packed with all that deep braised flavour, crispy strips on top for the crunch and flavoured soft boiled egg.

Shoyu Kurobuta Don is my favourite dish. The kurobuta pork has this really nice tender chew and that shoyu glaze is so well balanced. Broke the egg and that runny yolk makes every bite creamier.

Szechuan Popcorn Chicken, each piece is soft and tender with a light coating, mildly spicy.

Mapo Tofu (mini), silky tofu in a rich deeply savoury sauce, mildly spicy.

Shokupan French Toast, thick milk bread topped with matcha and goma ice cream, drizzled with kuromitsu sauce that adds sweetness. The matcha is earthy and slightly bitter, the goma is rich and nutty which is my favourite of the two.

Goma Parfait, corn pastry cream at the base topped with crunchy corn flakes, buttery financier, soft warabimochi, red beans, and a scoop of rich nutty goma ice cream drizzled with kuromitsu sauce.

Sparkling Honey Yuzu and Sparkling Calamansi. The honey yuzu is light and floral. The calamansi is tangy and refreshing.

I really enjoyed my meal here! 🍜 The hot and sour soup was delicious, and the pork dish with the egg on top looked amazing too. 🍚 I'm definitely planning to come back and try more items from their menu. The service was good, and the atmosphere was pleasant. 🌟

This is my 3rd time here and the Mapo tofu is still as amazing!!! There are 3 levels of spiciness, depending on your tolerance haha. I had a craving for Pork so I added on Crispy Kurobuta Pork Tonkatsu and it came with Spicy Mayo sauce. It was crispy and flavourful.

The Ebi Chilli Tamago Don is a PLQ exclusive. It is not too spicy, so it is suitable for people who can't tolerate the spiciness of the Mapo Tofu 🤭. The prawns are fresh and crunchy. They are quite generous in their servings as well.

We ordered Sze Chuan Popcorn chicken, Sze Chuan Soy Puff and Hot & Sour soup for the sides. The Popcorn chicken and Soy puff were really Crispy and fragrant. The Hot & Sour soup has a little too much pepper but still tastes okay.

We ordered the Signature Chen's Ginger Ale and Sparkling Ume & Mint which are refreshing! FYI, the hot Sencha is free flow, so we could chit chat while drinking the sencha hehehe.

Will definitely come back again! 讚!👍

Stopped by the newest outlet and had a great meal! The exclusive Ebi Tamago Don was a treat—plump prawns and fluffy scrambled eggs coated in a generous sweet and spicy sauce. Other excellent standouts included the crispy Yurinchi Chicken, which paired nicely with its sauce.

I also tried their signature Mapo Don, which was not too bad; I recommend topping it up with an Ajitama egg to enhance the dish. The cold Kurobuta with garlic sauce offered a tasty, light contrast to the meal.
